Dalton Bioanalytics, Inc. ("Dalton", "we") provides proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics, transcriptomics and multi-omics analysis to research institutions and companies. This policy explains what personal information we collect through
www.daltonbioanalytics.com and in business communications, and how we use it.
What we collect. Contact and professional details you give us (name, email, organization, job title, phone, country) and what you write in inquiry or quote forms, emails and meeting bookings. When you visit the site, we automatically collect device and usage data such as IP address, browser, pages viewed and referring page, along with cookies and similar identifiers. We may also receive business contact details from public professional sources or referrals. Please do not include sensitive personal information (health, financial or ID data) in inquiries. Scientific samples and project data are governed by your service agreement, not this policy.
How we use it. To respond to inquiries, prepare quotes and deliver services; to run and secure the website; to measure and improve our website and marketing; to send updates you have requested; and for accounting, records and legal compliance.
Who we share it with. Service providers that host our website and forms, manage our contacts and email, and handle accounting, payments and professional advice. They may only use the data to provide their services to us. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads, which rely on cookies and similar identifiers to measure site usage and advertising, and we may share limited contact information with Google for advertising purposes. We do not sell personal information, rent client lists, or share the scientific content of any inquiry or project with advertisers. We may disclose information when required by law or in connection with a sale or merger of the business.
Cookies. We use essential cookies to make the site work, and analytics and advertising cookies to understand site usage and measure advertising. You can decline non-essential cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com or www.aboutads.info/choices. Our site does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, as there is no common standard for them.
How long we keep it. Only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then we delete or anonymize it. Marketing subscriptions last until you unsubscribe.
Your choices. You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop using it for advertising, by emailing privacy@daltonbioanalytics.com. We will confirm the request comes from the email address on file for access, correction or deletion requests, and respond within 30 days. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
If you are in the EU or UK: we process your data based on our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and marketing our business, and our legal obligations. You may also object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority. We process data in the United States; our service providers' agreements include Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.
Security and children. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, but no method is completely secure; please do not send confidential scientific data through the contact form. Our services are for professionals and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes. We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date.
